Spin Spin

This is a pencil sharpener design inspired by the spinning top. The rotating action when using the pencil sharpener reminded me of the spinning toys I used to play with as a child, so I tried to fuse the shape of a spinning top with the function of a pencil sharpener. Because it ended up being made with 3D printing technology, I was more bold to try the spiral lines to simulate the state of the spinning top as it spins up. Unfortunately, it didn't really end up spinning like an actual spinning top. And I still need to improve on how to maintain the elegant shape while taking into account the storage of pencil shavings during the rolling process.
